About
A former runner and orienteer, I found the practice of yoga in 2008 when recovering from an ankle injury. I started with a gentle Hatha yoga practice and slowly established a more vigorous practice from there. It was especially through Vinyasa yoga that I fell in love with the practice as I experienced the amazing benefits on my body and mind.
In 2014, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Garden San Francisco. Since then, I continue to study and explore with experienced teachers such as Alexandra Rossi, Janet Stone, Stephanie Snyder, and Tiffany Cruikshank. In 2016, I became a certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher with Marisa Torriggino.
Philosophy
Everyone is welcome to join my classes. I teach beginners to advanced students. I also offer privates and prenatal private sessions.
I hope to provide a space where students can relax, flow and breathe together. My classes are designed to increase your flexibility and strength, while releasing stress and tension. By mindfully combining breath with movement, we gradually build up to more challenging yoga postures.
The practice is a place for you to explore what's going on inside. To dive deeper and learn about yourself. To connect to your own emotional, mental and physical strength. While learning to cultivate loving-kindness towards yourself and others.
